The Charleston Place Hotel’s reimagined arrival experience brings together refined hardscape, mature landscaping, and intricate sitework to create an entrance worthy of one of Charleston’s most iconic luxury destinations. From extensive paver installation and Silva Cell-supported tree systems to drainage, irrigation, and lush planting, the transformation was carefully constructed while the hotel remained fully operational—delivering a timeless landscape designed to complement the property’s historic character for decades to come.

The Cooper represents a new standard for luxury on Charleston’s waterfront, where sophisticated landscape construction and exceptional craftsmanship come together to complement a landmark hospitality destination. Over approximately 16 months, Pleasant Places transformed the site from subgrade to finish, delivering extensive hardscape, landscaping, irrigation, drainage, custom planters, natural stone, Ipe boardwalks, pool deck areas, and refined outdoor spaces designed to create a lasting connection between the hotel, Charleston Harbor, and the historic city beyond.
